I heard about the society from my cousins. My cousins are Mike and Chuck Genaro. I am glad I found this site, enjoyed reading the history. Even though my grandparents native land is Palermo, was wondering if there is a similar society for those from Palermo, Sicily?

i would like to make a correction to my last entry.in regards to tom balli's father,my father was leo balli's brother.my fathers name is anthony erba,there were two other brothers,there names are salvatore balli,joseph balli,and a sister,her name was caroline liotta.

in looking at the sanleonesociety web site guest book,i found a message from a tom balli.he was asking about relatives of his grandfather.his granpa was my fathers brother.my fathers name is anthony erba.i would like very much to contact tommy.i remember when tommy was a child and his brother julius would carry around.tommy is my cousin.if you have tommy's e mail adress or phone nunber would please contact me at annieeagel @ localnet.com respectfully,charles erba / 4-6-09

Hi Anthony I am glad to see You in Longi web .I call your father in Brooklyn . I was in Longi last year with my wife and I had wonderful time with my brother Ceccino and all family in longi capod'Orlando and Palermo with cousins Sirna. This was in settember after the death of zia Concettina. In october before we left for US we cruis the Mediterraneo for one week and finaly back in California . My family all doing fine Sergio have 2 childrens and Marina 3 Boys ,me and my wife gething older but in good health thanks to God. Love from all of us Nino lazzara
