OPENING
President Cipriano called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m. with the reading of the opening prayer.
A motion was made by Leo Zingale to dispense with the reading of the previous minutes. A correction was made to the minutes to note that President Cipriano asked for a moment of silence in memory of Maria Miceli. The motion was seconded by Leonard Russo. Motion passed.
MEMBERSHIP
6 New Members were sworn in Maria DeLuca, Dan DeLuca, Linda Beckett, Rosemary L. Koch, Anthony DeBalso and Melanie Costanzo.
Congratulations to our newest members!
We have 6 outstanding members that have not paid their dues as of 6/13/2010.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Paul DeLuca submitted a financial report for the period ending May 31, 2010.

COMMUNICATIONS: President Cipriano read a thank you note from the family of Maria Miceli.
OLD BUSINESS
PICNIC -- The picnic is scheduled for July 25, 2010 at Matthew Thomas Park. Raffle tickets have been sent out. Please make every effort to sell your tickets. 145 tickets for our scholarship raffle have been sold for the new year. We are down 30 tickets from last year. 17 were collected at this meeting.
90th Anniversary Celebration: President Cipriano reported that plans for the Society’s 90th Anniversary Celebration are under way. The celebration will be August 22nd at Birchwood Party Center. So mark your calendars!! Please make sure you call Carl or Paul for tickets, also RSVP as soon as you can. Fr. John Zingales will be speaking and we will be presenting the scholarship awards.
Thank you to all who baked for our May Mass. 70 people attended the Mass and Breakfast. Thank you to Rosann Zingale, Nancy Galati Cleary and Lisa Priolisi for the Flower Donation and Mary Zingale for the Mass Donation.
President Cipriano will have copies of the Raisin Anise Bread (Buccellato Di Lucca) recipe (that everyone loved) that was baked by Rosemary Koch for the Mass.
NEW BUSINESS
Scholarship Raffle: Eva Rodgers was the winner for the first month of our new raffle year. You can still purchase tickets for this raffle and help support our scholarship fund.
Door Prize winner was Paul DeLuca
CLOSING
There was no further business. President Cipriano adjourned the meeting at 12:30PM with the reading of the closing prayer.
